Cannabis products are intended exclusively for adults aged 21 and older. Maine Office of Cannabis Policy Title 28-B + federal law. Government photo ID required at the register, no exceptions.

Maine OCP licensing

Firestorm Cultivation, LLC operates two Maine Office of Cannabis Policy licensed adult-use storefronts: Firestorm Bangor and Firestorm Orono. Licenses are renewed annually + posted in-store. Look up our license status in the Maine OCP public licensee directory.

Federal banking restrictions

Cannabis remains federally Schedule I. Major credit card networks (Visa, Mastercard, AmEx) do not permit cannabis transactions. We accept cash + CanPay debit. ATM available in both stores.

Purchase limits

Maine adult-use limits per transaction (Maine Revised Statutes Title 28-B § 1501):

  • Flower: up to 2.5 ounces of cannabis
  • Concentrate: up to 10 grams (counted within the 2.5 oz combined cannabis + concentrate limit)
  • Edibles: max 10mg THC per serving · max 100mg THC per package (Title 22 § 2429-C)

Consumption rules

Public consumption of cannabis is illegal in Maine. Consume only on private property where the property owner permits it. Do not drive or operate machinery under the influence. Federal land (national parks, federal courthouses, airports) prohibits cannabis even within legal states.

Health + safety

Cannabis has not been evaluated by the FDA + is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Keep out of reach of children + pets. Start low, go slow on edibles (effects can take 90+ minutes). If pregnant or breastfeeding, consult a healthcare provider. Combining cannabis with alcohol or prescription medications carries risk.

Marketing compliance

We follow Maine OCP rules on advertising: no targeting under-21 audiences, no health claims, no false therapeutic claims, no review incentivization.
