Two Mainers walked into Bangor in 2020 and lit the first legal recreational storefront in the city. Six years in, they grow it, extract it, bake it, and sell it themselves — every plant from seed to shelf, no broker, no buyback.
01 · The thesis
When the state opened recreational sales, we wanted Mainers to have something grown in Maine soil, by Mainers, sold in Maine storefronts. So we built all four — the canopy, the lab, the kitchen, and the showroom — under one roof. Every Firestorm-branded product on our shelf starts in our Bangor grow room, is processed by hands we know, and lives a legal life from seed to shelf without leaving our control.
We are the people, from the people, and always for the people. That isn't marketing — it's the only reason we built this.
